Who needs to be trained?

The Decree on Cyber Security No. 82/2018 Sb. establishes the obligation to raise the security awareness of persons and to acquaint them with the basics of cyber security. Follow our blog on the latest cyber threats.

Who is the course for?

Cyber security is the responsibility of all employees, not just IT specialists or managers. The e-learning course is designed for all employees; no advanced IT knowledge is required.

Possible sanctions for companies

Pursuant to Section 25 of the Act, companies can be fined if they fail to comply with the regulation.

As of 1 January 2015, the Czech Republic joined the group of countries that have a special law dealing with cyber security. It aims to unify the rules of procedure in the event of security incidents and increase protection. In the event of non-compliance with the regulation, companies can be fined up to CZK 100,000.

The Cyber Security Act 181/2014 Sb. entered into force in January 2015. Both public and private organizations must comply with it.
